This slide file
is to introduce recent “Sabkha” environment in Abu Dhabi.These sequences is quite similar to
Hith and Arab A-D which are important hydrocarbon traps, Abu Dhabi offshore.
Most of
photographs were taken in the field excursion at 16th September 1988.Unfortunately, some places cannot be
entered now, but it seems a lot of similar areas exist in Abu Dhabi. Please
understand that these locations which will be introduced were typical places
in 1988.
