SPE Asia Pacific Conference on Integrated Modelling for Asset Management 25-26 April 2000, Yokohama Japan CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

DearColleagues: The second SPE Asia Pacific Conference on Integrated Modelling for Asset Management will be held 25-26 April 2000 in Yokohama, Japan. The event is jointly supported by the Japanese Association for Petroleum Technology (JAPT) and Japan National Oil Corporation (JNOC). The conference follows the highly successful inaugural event which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 1998. The occasion also marks the first time a SPE International Conference is being held in the land of the rising sun. On behalf of the 2000 APCIMAM Programme Committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you and/or your colleagues to contribute your experience and expertise. Abstracts sought are listed inside this form. Abstracts will be due by 16 July 1999, and author notification will be made by early September 1999. Manuscript will be due by 3 January 2000. Poster participation is encouraged. Poster sessions offer the opportunity to delve into in depth examination of subject topics. We have an enthusiastic committee that represents a broad cross-section of our region, and the theme chosen for the conference is:

RISING TO THE CHALLENGES OF ENHANCING OUR ASSETS.

The theme invites you to focus on the positive changes taking place, technical challenges, and the new ways of working in the new millenium. We offer a wide mix of stimulating technical presentations and interactive sessions - programmes that look at the use of innovative technology to ensure optimal field development and satisfy asset management objectives. We look forward to receiving your abstracts and your support and to see you in the land where the Cherry Blossoms are in their full splendor, in April 2000.
